Question:  What does a singer-songwriter and a pastor know about money?

Answer:  Enough to know that the investing game you are playing is a rigged game and the small stack of chips under your fingers has a target on it.

In 2017, Mike Hatch and PW Gopal's friendship led them to a small cafe in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania on a Sunday afternoon after working together on a mens retreat.  They sat and ate with our friend David and discovered that they had several things in common:  an insatiable desire to read and learn, hearts to be better stewards of what God has entrusted to them, and an aggressive desire for wealth creation.

PW has been a singer/songwriter/storyteller for 17 years but in 2011 decided to start studying money and wealth creation.  Getting married late in life put a fire under him to have a family and build stability for them that a life on the road couldn't offer so he spent his late hours on YouTube and day hours reading financial books.  That two dimensional life was short lived as he decided to sell a prize Gibson guitar and start a futures trading account following the markets and wealth cycles from the inside.  He has since started a consulting firm educating entrepreneurs and small businesses on financial intelligence and has consistently been hedging and growing his family's investment portfolio.  After some short conversations with Mike they decided it was time to start giving the information away to their friends and family through the Blue Collar Money podcast.
